Allan is an Aboriginal born artist, with his ancestral heritage mix stemming from his father`s side stemming back from his Badtjala (Butchulla) on Queensland`s Fraser Island (K`Gari), and of Wakka Wakka (Wokka Wokka) and Kabi Kabi (Gubbi Gubbi) on his Mother`s side.
Allan also paints under his chosen native name (which he had chosen for himself)
WANG`ARI (One Gurri) meaning (Dingo) Blackman. The surname being his Grandmothers maiden name.
Having studied Fine Art and Graphic Design at La Trobe University in Australia. Allan`s artistic style varies from an analogue style of painting and drawing, woodburning, photography to recently delving into graphical art and design.
Allan`s artistic talents vary from Life Drawing, Portraiture and mixing his graphic and analogue mediums to create one of a kind pieces.
